Lacunae

Lacuna(lə-ˈkü-nə)- a blank space or a missing part. An absent part, especially in a book or other piece of writing. Plural - lacunae.

Made during the most isolated periods of the Covid-19 pandemic, this constellation of works explores a variety of materials as I grappled with a shifting sense of reality, timelines, and focus.

Living in the nations’s capital and mere blocks from the Capitol Building on January 6th, 2021, themes of distortion and threat to American democracy wove themselves into my work.
